. BATMAN . AKA: Bruce Wayne. dark, cold, calculating man that trusts very few people. Clark happens to be one of them.
His only powers are whit, ingenuity, and ju-jistu. Millionaire philanthropist & playboy. Total hottie.
. SUPERMAN . AKA: Clark Kent. Open, honest, trusting, boy scout, farmer, "world's greatest hero," man's man type.
EPISODE : Doomsday Sanction JL Unlimited (season 1)
POINT 1
The often rush to save or aid one another at extreme personal risk. Now if you're watching or reading
Justice League, they're on a team with 5 other very capable people who also need help from time to time,
but 90% of the time the only other person Batman helps is the usually the invulnerable Superman.
In the JLU episode Doomsday Santion, while aboard the space watch tower Batman sees there's a Kryptonite
missile headed towards an evacuated Island where Superman is fighting Doomsday. Of the hundreds of other
superheroes in the watch tower with him at the time, he decides to stop the missile personally, and even flies
his ship so fast he nearly burns up on re-entry only to use the ship he's sitting in to destroy the bomb. O.o
He gets the award for most daring rescue ever! The gets on Superman's case later about how he just took a bullet for him.
EPISODE : Twilight (JL season 2)
POINT 1
Batman and Superman have developed the uncanny to know the other's mind, why is that? This is especially true in
the Twilight 2 parter. Superman has a hugevendetta against Darkseid. So when
Brainiac threatens to destroy Darkseid forever he
couldn't be happier, even though that would make Braniac,
another formidable foe, even stronger. Batman,
as always, knows exactly what goes through
Superman's mind. So that's when Batman steps in
and they have a man to man chat. And as usual, they're 2 inches
from each other.
POINT 2
At the climax of the episode it turns out the whole
ordeal was a trap. While everyone else is fleeing,
Superman decides to stay behind and engage
Darkseid in an "end all / suicide" kind of battle
even though the planet they're on was going to
explode. No one knows where Superman
is or what he's doing. But as, always Batman
does. He goes to stop him, puting his own life
in serious danger for him as usual. Superman knows this.
Aside from the fact that Batman was interfering with his and
Darkseid's suicide battle, he was REALLY
worried about him well, getting hurt or dying,
you could tell. Batman manages to pull them both
to safety anyway, despite being smacked across the room
for trying. After Superman is denied hie revenge of course he's pissed
and needs to be 2 inches from Batman in order to tell him that.
EPISODE : The Savage Time (JL season 1)
POINT 1
In this episode the JLA members go back in time to WWII when they realize that something
from that time has altered the future. Batman decides to stay behind in case something goes
wrong. But in doing so he risks being erased or changed in time forever.
Luckily when they get back, Batman is there safe and sound, and Superman was
ridiculously happy to see him. He gives him a bear hug, it was adorable.
EPISODE : Injustice For All (JL season 1)
POINT 1
At one point during a battle against Lex Luthor's hired goons Batman is badly injured after being bitten by Copperhead.
He falls unconcious and nearly dies because of the venom. Out of all the chaos of the escape, Superman is still the
first to notice Batman is hurt. Later Batman finally comes too. Guess who's the first person he sees.
POINT 2
As a result of Batman's being "only human" Superman really admires him. Even though he has no powers,
Batman can do things that Superman can't. Despite how strong and formidable Superman is, he has the
hardest time roughing up bad guys, or getting informantion from them. It's just too hard on his boy scout
like concious. Superman: How does Batman do it?
EPISODE : Secret Origins (JL season 1)
POINT 1
Even before the justice league was formed, Superman and Batman were pretty close.
Superman would arrive in the nick of time to lend a hand even when his help wasn't necessary.
In the first episode, Batman had run into some trouble with a few aliens when suddenly
Superman enters the scene to help. Now, Superman lives in 'Metropolis' or Chicago, Batman lives
in Gotham or New York. Even with his super speed Superman was hardly in the neighborhood.
How did he even know to come there? This didn't happen in Metropolis, Batman didn't call him,
and this is an observatory far from a city so no one else was there to even call the police.
He just pops up out of no where to "lend a hand."
POINT 2
On that note, the way Superman keeps popping up leads me to believe he's keeping
tabs on the bat the same way Bejiita does on Gokuu. Batman's a big boy and can take
care of himself. Yet Superman is always there to help him and even gave him a
'communicator' so they can 'keep in touch'. Batman never likes to admit he needs
help, but he keeps the communicator anyway.
POINT 3
Later in episode one, Batman really does need help after his sneak attack on the
aliens didn't go as planned. Of course Superman came to his aid right away. He was a lot
more upset than I thought he would be when he saw Batman was hurt. Instead of trying to
wake him or see if he could stand on his own he picks him up and carries him off. What's
suspicious in this case is not the fact that he carried him out but more how he did it.
When he save Lois he threshold carries her. It's kind of an intimate thing since we know he's got a thing for her
Lois is usually the only person he carries this way. But we see in the pictures to the left he carries Batman the
same way. In fact whenever they need to fly somewhere it's always Superman to carry Batman. There are plenty of other
justice leaguers that can fly but it usually ends up being Superman.
